How does moling actually work?

Moling is one of the latest developments in the field of water main replacement. This technology allows us to bore channels for pipe replacements with a minimum of ground disturbance.

We start by digging a small entry pit located next to the external stop valve from where we send our mole towards an exit pit up to 10 meters away, meaning for the average property we will only require two to three pits.

Our process is much less invasive to your pavement, garden, or driveway is compared to traditional trenching methods which require a much larger excavation, and are therefore much more destructive. Our moling services are available in London, Essex, Surrey, Sussex, Kent and surrounding areas.
